Half-Day Education Program with
Exhibits and Free Health Screenings
Join the American Diabetes Association next weekend for Diabetes Exposed, a half-day educational program designed to educate all people with diabetes. Diabetes classes will be offered throughout the morning along with a health fair with FREE health screenings. You don’t want to miss this!
Diabetes Exposed will be held from 8:00am-1:00pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Coastal Georgia Center for Continuing Education (305 Fahm Street, Savannah, GA 31401)
There is a $5 fee to attend this event. Scholarships are available; contact the American Diabetes Association for more information.
Session topics include: Diabetes and the Affordable Care Act, Pre-diabetes, Survivor Skills 101, Let’s Check our Feet, Nutrition & Exercise, Diabetes Management, Type 1 Diabetes Family Panel, and Community Resources.
Browse the health fair with over 20 diabetes-related vendors and take advantage of FREE screenings including blood pressure, blood glucose, and BMI calculations.
