The Houston family feud is on! In one corner, there's Bobbi Kris, the 19-year old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. In the other corner, is Whitney's mom Cissy Houston. Bobbi Kris is angry with her grandmother Cissy for writing Remembering Whitney: My Story Of Love, Loss And The Night The Music Stopped which is a tell all about Bobbi Kris' mom. Bobbi Kris says the book is disrespectful to
her mother's memory, and she and play brother/boyfriend Nick Gordon are urging their fans to boycott the book. Cissy needs the money the book will bring in, and she did not hold back when she revealed Whitney's problems and how she and her granddaughter are not close. On Saturday the 9^th, CBS is airing a special on the death of Whitney Houston, who died a year ago February 11^th.

Former 76er Allen Iverson is a divorced man. He is no longer married to the mother of his children Tawanna Iverson. At a recent court hearing, a judge lashed out at Allen Iverson by saying the baller is not a fit parent and is an alcoholic. The judge says Iverson has no interest inhis children, and even left his children alone without any supervision. The judge cited one incident when Iverson left his young daughter with unknown men in a room. Ex-wife Tawanna Iverson has legal and physical custody their five Iverson children. Iverson has some visitation rights, but he can’t drink within 24 hours of seeing his children until they are 18. Iverson also lost his Georgia mansion, which went into foreclosure.

T.J. Jackson needs money. TJ is the son of Tito Jackson, and since last year, he has co-guardian of the late Michael Jackson's kids along with his grandmother Katherine Jackson. TJ is married with three
children of his own. He has been a surrogate parent to Michael's kids Prince, Paris and Blanket, but now TJ needs money if he is going to continue doing it. TJ has asked the Michael Jackson Estate for $9,000 a month to continue in his role. The kids love their cousin TJ, and he has been very good to them.

Actor Blair Underwood is coming back to TV. Underwood is filming a pilot based on the old school, TV classic Ironside. After he wrapped his 50's classic Perry Mason, Actor Raymond Burr made a comeback with the popular police drama as “Chief Robert Ironside.” Quincy Jones did the theme song for the original show. Burr played a veteran detective confined to a wheelchair after being shot by a sniper. Underwood will recreate that role.

The NBA All-Star Weekend is set for the February 17^th in Houston, Texas. Alicia Keys is performing at halftime. John Legend is singing the national anthem.

Scandal Star and three-time NAACP Image Award Winner Kerry Washington is the cover girl for the latest edition of Ebony magazine.

The BET Awards has now turned into the BET Experience. The show airs June 30^th on BET with special guests Beyonce, New Edition, R Kelly, Miguel, The Jacksons, Snoop Dog and many more.

Tamar Braxton has a hot show on BET's Centric channel called The Culture List. I love this show! It’s the perfect blend of entertainment, health and information. Braxton makes a good hostess. The show also
features former WBLS Midday Personality Jasmine Sanders.

Will there a halftime show at next year's Superbowl? The “Jerseybowl” will take place at the Meadowlands, and there is no dome at Giants' Stadium. There has never been a cold weather Superbowl before, and officials are worried that the weather may be bad or too cold for the performers and crews involved in the halftime shows.

At the movies, it’s Identity Thief with Jason Bateman, Emmy Winner Melissa McCarthy (Mike & Molly), Morris Chestnut and Rapper T.I. Speaking of Chestnut, he is on a roll. He'll be co-star with Halle
Berry in her new movie The Call on the 15^th. Plus, Chestnut and Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Terrence Howard, Monica Calhoun, Sanaa Lathan, Harold Perrineau, Jr., Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall will all reprise their roles from the 1999 surprise box office smash. Malcolm Lee will be back directing. The Best Man II comes out November 15^th.

Fashionista Andre Leon Talley is in talks to host a late night talk show. Talley says the show will look into his international fashion lifestyle. Producers are looking at a cable network for the show's home.

Beyonce is producing the documentary Life Is But A Dream about her life and career that will air on HBO February 16^th. She's also in the midst of her role as the new spokesperson for Pepsi Cola. The $50 million Pepsi deal includes Beyonce's picture on Pepsi cans with the soda giant sponsoring all her major events. She’s also going to be the cover girl for the March issue of Vogue magazine and G.Q. magazine. Beyonce is also launching The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. She'll be in Philly July 25^th at the Wells Fargo Center and at The Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City July 26^th. Tickets go on sale February 15^th.

Congrats to Tracy Morgan! He and his fiancee Megan Wollover are expecting their first child together. This is his fourth.

First Lady Michelle Obama will be gracing the cover of Vogue magazine for the second time. She was first on the cover in 2009. Published reports say veteran Photojournalist Annie Leibovitz just completed a shoot with The First Lady just this past week.

LL Cool J is the cover guy for the latest issue of Essence magazine. He's is also on the bill for The 2013 Essence Music Festival July 4-7 in New Orleans. Jill Scott, Keyshia Cole, New Edition, Brandy, Mint
Condition,“Uncle Charlie” Wilson and Maxwell are also schedule to perform this year. LL is on a roll. He just won an NAACP Image Award for his role on NCIS: Los Angeles, and he’s also returning as host of The 55^th
Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday. Nominees include Melanie Fiona, Frank Ocean, Anthony Hamilton, R Kelly, Miguel, Rihanna, Dave Koz, Estelle, Usher, Anita Baker, SWV, Tamia, Beyonce, Tyrese and John
Legend.

Is there a future for TJ Holmes and his BET show Don’t Sleep? The show stopped filming new episodes last year, and lately Holmes has been filling in on MSNBC.

We remember Cecil Womack, the brother of Bobby's brother and former member of The Valentinos with their three other brothers Friendly Womack, Jr., Harry and Curtis. They were named the Valentinos by the late Sam Cooke who signed them to his SAR label in 1961. Their early 60's hits included It's All Over and Looking For A Love, which Bobby remade as a solo number one hit in 1974. After Cooke died and the Valentinos broke up, Cecil married the late Motown Legend Mary Wells, and they had three children. After divorcing Wells in 1977, Cecil would later marry Sam Cooke's daughter Linda. At that time, Cecil's brother Bobby Womack was still married to Linda's mother and Sam's widow Barbara. This
caused much controversy back then. Cecil and Linda became songwriters and producers most notably with Philadelphia International Records. They wrote and produced for Patti LaBelle, The O'Jays and their huge
Teddy Pendergrass hit, Love TKO. They had a hit themselves in 1984 with Baby I'm Scared Of You. Cecil, Linda and their seven children had been living in South Africa for the past few years. Cecil Womack
was 65 when he died.

Oprah Winfrey, Gabrielle Union, Alfre Woodard, Writer/Producer Mara Brock Akil (The Game,
Jumping The Broom) will be amongst the honorees at Essence magazine's 6^th Annual Black Women In Hollywood event on February 21^st.

Actor Quvenzhane Wallis looks great on the latest issue of Jet magazine. At age nine, Wallis is the youngest Best Actress nominee and youngest African American nominee ever.

The 85^th Annual Academy Awards take place Sunday, February 24^th, and the talent is going to be amazing that night. For the first time in 36 years, Barbara Streisand will be performing. She last performed her hit Evergreen on the show in 1977 and won the Oscar for the song that night. Other Oscar performers include Singers Adele and Norah Jones. The Steven Spielberg movie Lincoln is leading the nominations with Best Director Spielberg, Best Actor Daniel Day Lewis and Best Picture. Also up for awards: Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, Silver Linings Playbook, Denzel Washington got a nod for Flight and Quvenzhane Wallis.

Actor Terry Crews (Everybody Loves Chris) is coming back to TV. He’s going to play a police sergeant in a new comedy with Andy Samberg of SNL. Crews recently wrapped up filming on Tyler Perry's movie Single Moms' Club. Crews was last on TV as the husband and step-dad in the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet?

WDAS Morning Man Steve Harvey's Hoodie Awards now has a new name. It's now called The Neighborhood Awards and tickets are now on sale. The Neighborhood Awards are happening August 8^th
-11^th in Las Vegas.

Lenny Kravitz has produced a documentary, Looking Back On Love, about the making of his album Black And White America. Kravitz says he did the film and album as a way of honoring his family. Kravitz's mom was Actress Roxie Roker who played “Helen Willis” on the long-running CBS sitcom The Jeffersons. Looking Back On Love is in theaters now.

Is the writing on the wall for Soledad O'Brien and CNN? New CNN Boss Jeff Zucker lured ABC's
Chris Cuomo over to the network. Reports say Zucker wants to team Cuomo up with Erin Burnett for a new morning show, which would leave O'Brien, the current solo host of Starting Point, in an uncertain situation.

Boyz II Men is setting up shop in Las Vegas. Starting in March, they will be doing a series of weekend concerts for the rest of the year at the Mirage Casino. The Philadelphia natives just celebrated their 20^th
year as a group, and are also going on The Package Tour with New Kids On The Block and 98 Degrees. They are doing a show June 15^th at The Wells Fargo Center.

Singers Chante Moore and Kelly Price are joining the cast of TV One’s R&B Divas LA, which is a spinoff from from the original R&B Divas reality show. Moore and Price are also appearing as part of the Soulful Sista's Tour. Singers Angie Stone and La Tocha Scott(Xscape) are joining the Atlanta version of R&B Divas. The new season starts in April.

The 2013 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony will air on HBO May 18^th.
This year's inductees include Donna Summer, Public Enemy, Heart, Rush, and special honors going to Quincy Jones and Producer Lou Adler. Summer, whose induction her fans had long called for, died in May from lung cancer. Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera will be performing in the Donna Summer tribute.

Prince is going to be the big honoree at this year's 2013 Billboard Music Awards. The show airs May 19^th on ABC.

The new season for Dancing With The Stars kicks off March 18^th.

Tyler Perry will be back just in time for the Easter holiday 2013, with his latest big screen project. Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Lance Gross, Vanessa Williams,
Brandy and Kim Kardashian. The movie opens March 29^th. Perry also has two new shows debuting on OWN. It's part of his exclusive deal with Oprah Winfrey's cable network. The Haves And Have Nots is a drama about a family and their housekeeper, and Love Thy Neighbor is a sitcom set in a diner. Now speaking of Jurnee Smollett-Bell, in addition to starring in Perry's movie Temptation, she has signed on to join the cast of HBO’s True Blood, which returns in June.

Singer Keith Sweat is now an author. Sweat, the host of WDAS' overnight show The Sweat Hotel, has a new book coming out on February 12^th called Make It Last Forever: The Do’s And Don’t's Of Relationships. So what makes Sweat an expert? He says he’s had girlfriends, been married, been divorced, he’s cheated, been cheated on, been in love and had true love. He says he has seen it all and wants to help others in their relationships.

Dr. Ian Smith is back with another weight loss book. Smith, the author of the Fat Smash Diet and 50 Million Pound Challenge, is back with Shred: The Revolutionary Diet. Dr. Smith says in six weeks you can
lose 4 inches and go down two dress sizes. He says his plan will not leave you hungry.

Get ready for the return of the Braxton Family Values. Season three kicks off March 14^th on WE TV.

Lifetime is rolling out a lot of movies in February: There's Toni Braxton and Mykelti Williamson in Twist Of Fate airing this Saturday, February 9^th. Then Saturday, February 16^th Pastor Brown starring Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Ernie Hudson, Tisha Martin Campbell, Nicole Ari Parker and Rockmond Dunbar.

Keven Parker is at The Reading Terminal in Center City. The Keven Parker Soul Food Cafe is located on the 12^th Street side where the old Delilah's was. Parker brings his same legendary culinary skills to the Redding Terminal.

Iyanla Van Zandt is back the second season of her hit show Iyanla: Fix My Life kicks off April 13^th
on OWN. In the new season, she squares off with Rapper DMX.

Wendy Williams is releasing a new book of advice called Ask Wendy. The book comes out May 7^th.

Halle Berry, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle and Bishop TD Jakes are going to be honored at the 2013 BET Honors. Gabrielle Union returns as host, and the show airs on BET this Monday, February 11^th. Performers include Ledisi, Alicia Keys, Brandy, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, The S.O.S. Band and Erykah Badu.

On Monday, March 18^th, Latin Singing Sensation Shakira, who just gave birth to her first child (son Milan), will join the lineup of NBC's singing reality show The Voice along with Usher. They'll join Judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Usher will also be starring in the movie Hands Of Stone, about the life of Boxing Great Sugar Ray Leonard.

Get ready for the Motown Musical about the life of Music Icon Berry Gordy. The musical details how he went from being a boxer to a music mogul. The Motown Musical debuts March 11^th.

Get ready for the Smiths! Will Smith reunites with his son Jaden on the big screen for the M. Night Shyamalan movie After Earth. The movie opens in theaters next June.

After 30 years, Actress Cicely Tyson is returning to Broadway. She makes her return next April in the production The Trip To Bountiful. Tyson plays an elderly woman who returns to her small Texas town. Vanessa Williams and Cuba Gooding, Jr. have also been added to the cast.

Actress Regina King is going to be all over your TV in 2013. Season five of her TNT drama Southland returns February 13^th, and she is joining the cast of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

Kimora Lee Simmons has a new show launching on the Style network called Kimora's House Of Fab.

The R&B Music Hall Of Fame will launch new inductees May 5^th 2013. New Inductees include Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, The Supremes, The Miracles and Ray Charles.
