Portia is a 10 year veteran of the radio business. She has worked all formats of the business, from Country to Urban, in cities such as Brunswick, Ga., Jacksonville, Fl., Charleston, S.C., Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Columbia, S.C. before coming to Love 101-1! Portia has accomplished success as an on-air talent, Music Director, Promotion Director, Web Coordinator and Program Director.
As Program Director in Columbia, S.C., Portia was the winner of the Impact Magazine, Medium Market Program Director of the Year in 2000. Portia holds a B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Journalism.

Anywhere on or near a beach!

It's a toss up...fried chicken wings with fires and crab legs and steamed oysters.

Rusan's...Japanese Sushi spot in Atlanta!

CSI (all of them...CSI: NY ia a little on the darkside but still enjoyable). Most Evil, Forensic Files, The First 48 Hours, Law & Order (All of them)

AT HOME...in the tub or shower...it's just relaxing!
Something you've always wanted to do
Go to one of the islands (Jamaica, Bahamas, Grand Caymans) ...I want to see if "Dexter St. Jacques" really exist...LOL

Many of us will be attending a wedding or graduation or some type of event this summer...well, it seems the DJ won't be playing the Electric Slide or the Cupid Shuffle to get everybody on the floor...Mary J. I am all for healing past hurts and letting go of things that can keep you from moving forward in life...especially bad relationships. But at what point do you draw the line at "capitalizing" off of it.
We all know about the incident between Prophetess Juanita Bynum and her estranged husband, Bishop Thomas W. Weeks, III and his recent guilty plea of aggravated assault (allegedly done to protect her)...but as if that whole thing wasn't bad enough...why is she now going on Divorce Court?
I guess in theory, it makes sense...she wants other women, who have been victims of abuse, to know they don't have to remain in an unhealthy relationship. But uh, couldn't she just have written another book? I mean, really, look at the type of people appear on Divorce Court...where on earth do they find them?
Is she really doing this to benefit other women (victims)...or is she caught up in the hype?
Last time I checked...it was May Sweeps in television...Hmmm!!!
