A reporter from WTTG in Washington, D.C. who was live on the scene of Hurricane Irene in Ocean City, Maryland was blasted with some sort of green foamy material that MyFoxNY later identified as "probably the remnants of raw sewage." In the report Tucker Barnes can be seen standing against a railing on the boardwalk as his entire body, including his face and mouth, were splashed with the material. Barnes remarked during the broadcast, "[The strange material] doesn't taste great . . . I don't know what it is, it has a sort of sandy consistency," adding, "It doesn't smell great."
